Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes things can change and you may be thinking about cancelling your booking. Please contact us to see how we can help.
If you do need to cancel your booking, you may be charged a cancellation fee depending on the plan chosen and when you initiate cancellation.
If your booking is not yet confirmed
That is, no provider has been assigned
Cancellation is free, and the hold on your card is immediately released. You can initiate cancellation from within the app, or by contacting us .
If your booking is confirmed
That is, once a provider has been assigned
Cancellation can be initiated from within the app, or by contacting BeMoved Customer Support .
Once a provider has been assigned, the cancellation fee depends on the plan and the date you cancel.
- REGULAR MOVE:
- On the Regular Move plan, 50% of the deposit is charged as a cancellation fee (no matter when you cancel)
- No refunds are applicable.
- FLEXIBLE MOVE and CALL CENTRE / CONCIERGE MOVE:
- On all other plans (Flexible Move plan, or Concierge Move plan):
- Cancel for free up to 72 hours (3 days) before booking date (no cancellation fee)
- If you cancel within 72 hours of the booking date, then 50% of deposit charged as a cancellation fee
BeMoved Customer Support will initiate refund or partial refund of your deposit, and a receipt of the cancellation will be emailed to you with a reference number to confirm your cancellation. Please allow 5-10 business days to show up in your bank account. - On all other plans (Flexible Move plan, or Concierge Move plan):
